Golf Oil Well Dead?
As of today the US government is stating that the well that caused the massive spill disaster has finally stopped spewing oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Relief efforts have started to see good signs of success in preventing the oil from spilling to the point where they have considered the well to be "dead." However this does not take away from the 205 million gallons spilled into the Gulf and the damage that it had on the environment. Cost suffered from the great lost of oil and the effect that the spill had on the environment, on land as well as in the water. I believe that the amount of profit lost from both relief efforts in cleaning and from the sales of the oil itself is exponential. I think that it will also greatly effect our country's GDP.
