A Graying Population, a Graying Work Force

In an aging population, the elderly are increasingly being taken care of by the elderly. Professional caregivers — almost all of them women — are one of the fastest-growing segments of the American work force, and also one of the grayest.

    especially with the baby boomer's getting old now, there is a large increase in the number of elderly. Now would be a good time to get into the business of caregiving or funeral parlors.

    This makes me worried for social security. Soon our generation will have to pay for the baby boomers.

    I think the correct move would be more towards health care or hospice rather than funeral parlors.
