A Graying Population, a Graying Work Force

In an aging population, the elderly are increasingly being taken care of by the elderly. Professional caregivers — almost all of them women — are one of the fastest-growing segments of the American work force, and also one of the grayest.

  1. especially with the baby boomer's getting old now, there is a large increase in the number of elderly. Now would be a good time to get into the business of caregiving or funeral parlors.

  2. This makes me worried for social security. Soon our generation will have to pay for the baby boomers.

  3. I think the correct move would be more towards health care or hospice rather than funeral parlors.
