Next in line for a bailout: Social Security

For the first time in 25 years, Social Security is taking less taxes than it is spending on benefits. US government may need to bailout for social security in the near future.

  1. This article is also addressing the current views about social security in the future. Previously it was believed that the problem with the social security system would be for future generations to deal with. But this article is saying that it is a problem of the present. This issue applies to retirees who now may be depending more on social security payments as their retirement income, and with increasing life expectancy the amount of funds for retirees is likely to continue to increase.
