Recession? What Recession? Good Times Roll On at the U.S. Open

United States Open generates 120 million dollars in TR- 80% of the U.S.T.A.'s revenue. The US Open is booming while all other US Sports teams are loosing out due to the recession.

  1. This is very interesting. The USTA is able to keep its costs relatively consistent year in and year out. This coupled with their ability to attract fans because of the timing of their event makes it a very attractive marketing option for companies. Even when many companies are cutting back on advertising because of the economic downturn they are willing to advertise with the U.S. Open because it involves very litle risk compared to other advertising options.
